All images are printed on Centurion Photo Silk 285 with a satin finish. Four different frame types are offered which have been chosen specifically for the artworks.
Centurion Photo Silk is a super white, smooth paper and has the look and feel of a traditional silver halide photo paper because of its true photographic resin coated substrate base. The paper is specifically designed for high quality professional photographic output. Unlike other papers on the market the optical brighteners have been incorporated into the RC base. This unique feature means the paper will be more resistant to fading and yellowing. Optical brighteners can breakdown overtime due to sunlight exposure, moving the OBA’s to the base, gives the paper stronger archival characteristics.
Centurion photo silk has some impressive environmental credentials. Photo silk is 100% virgin fibre, sourced from sustainable forests. It was awarded the Nordic Swan Award – the most demanding ecological mark in international paper. The mill maintains ISO14001 Environmental Management System certification. It recycles water – uses waste products as energy source – waste and effluent treatment systems in place – no detectable dioxin discharges.
